February 26th, 2006 - Back In Style
Well, since I have been gone for so long, I thought that I should come back in style. Yes folks, this knitter achieved her Olympic goal of finishing the long languishing Princess De.
It took long enough, but I can say that I am quite pleased with my first self-designed sweater.

It took me quite a long time to work out how to do the short row shoulders, which was the true challenge for me. I am considering this as a prototype model. I am going to re-write the pattern with some changes, and knit another one up (the next one will be pink). Once I have done that, if I think that there is enough interest, I will search out some test knitters and make the pattern available. Would anyone have an interest in this pattern?
As you can see, I also re-designed my site a little bit, so if you find any problems, please let me know!
