November 2007
November 11th, 2007 - Status Report
It has been a long time since I have posted an in progress project, so I thought today I would give you two.
When I took they jewelry course a couple of weekends ago, I saw some Keri Rounding brooches (go, drool over her site, I will wait here) that I fell in love with. I thought I would see if I could do something similar for myself since mimicry is the highest form of flattery.
And apparently it seems that I can. Only problem is now I cannot find a pin back that is small enough to hide. I am going to check my local bead shop and see if they have something there. To give you an idea of size, this is about 3 inches across.
The other thing I have been working on rather obsessively is Lady Eleanor.
I know already that this is going to be my favourite thing I have ever knitted and that it will get a lot of wear. This is Silk Garden colour #201 and I am just about done 4 balls worth. I am aiming to wear this at Christmas, but we will see. I forgot how much I loved working with this yarn.
I have many things waiting in my mind for a few things to be finished. This time of year seems to bring that out in me. I just wish I had more crafty time!
